Vitamin K2 is a group of menaquinone compounds with side chains of different lengths. In terms of chemical structure, the number of unsaturated isoprene chains on the side chain of menaquinone varies, and is usually referred to as MK-n, where n represents the number of isoprene chains. Functionally speaking, different side chain lengths can reach different tissues in the body. The longer the side chain, the longer it takes to be absorbed and the longer it stays in the blood. Vitamin K2, mk7 (Menaquinone-7), synthetic grade,[27670-94-6]

After more than a decade of research, the Vitamin K2 series has evolved into two major dosage forms: powder and oil.

Powder excipients include food-grade DCP (calcium dihydrogen phosphate), CD, food-grade calcium carbonate, food-grade silica, etc. Oil supplements include sunflower oil, olive oil, soybean oil, etc. Not only can we provide protocol customization services based on customer requirements, but we also offer technical support and recommended formulas to alleviate concerns about usage.

    Applications:

    Increase Bone Density:
Research from Japanese, European, and American institutions indicates that vitamin K2 promotes bone formation, thereby increasing bone density. In modern diets, the main deficiency is in the active substance vitamin K2, not calcium.

    Vitamin K2 Deficiency:
The most biologically active component in animals is vitamin K2, and vitamin K1 and vitamin K3 must be converted into vitamin K2 to be effective. All three forms of vitamin K are converted into vitamin K2 in the liver and absorbed and utilized together with vitamin K2 synthesized by gastrointestinal microorganisms.

    Prevent Liver Cirrhosis:
Studies from Osaka City University in Japan show that vitamin K2 can prevent liver cirrhosis from progressing to liver cancer.

    Promote Cardiovascular Health:
Research by the VitaK R&D team at Maastricht University in the Netherlands indicates that vitamin K2 can inhibit the hardening of arterial walls caused by age changes, significantly improving blood vessel elasticity.

    Slow Down IL-6:
As the body ages, the cytokine interleukin-6 (IL-6) increases, promoting inflammation levels. Vitamin K2 can slow down the increase of IL-6.

    Regulate Blood Sugar:
Vitamin K2 plays a crucial role in the pancreas, regulating blood sugar and insulin. Japanese researchers found that in animal experiments, a lack of vitamin K2 led to the development of type II diabetes.

    Antioxidant:
Research shows that the antioxidant activity of vitamin K2 is equivalent to vitamin E and coenzyme Q10. Animal studies have demonstrated that using vitamin K2 to protect the liver during oxidative stress reactions has an antioxidant effect equivalent to 80% of vitamin E.

    Alzheimer’s Disease:
Approximately 25% of individuals carrying the e4 form of lipoprotein ApoE are genetically predisposed to developing Alzheimer's disease. Interestingly, people with this gene have been found to have low levels of vitamin K2.
