The main components of fennel are protein, fat, dietary fiber, fennel, fennel ketone, fennel aldehyde and so on. Its aroma mainly comes from such aroma substances as fennel and anisaldehyde. It is a multipurpose plant that integrates medicine, seasoning, food and cosmetics.
The tender stems and leaves are used as vegetables and stuffing. The fennel fruit contains 2.8% fennel oil, 50-60% fennel, 18-20% a-fennenone, 10% methyl pepper and a-pinene dipolypentene, anisaldehyde and anise. The endosperm contains about 15% fat oil, 85% protein, starch, sugar and mucus.
It can be used as spices, and is often used in the cooking of pasta such as meat, seafood and pancakes. Traditional Chinese medicine, sex warming, spicy taste, belong to the liver, kidney, spleen, stomach meridian. Function: Warming liver and kidney, warming stomach, dispersing congestion, dispelling cold and relieving pain, regulating qi and stomach. For cold hernia abdominal pain, testicular deflection, women dysmenorrhea, less abdominal cold pain, abdominal distension pain, fewer vomiting and diarrhea and other symptoms.
