L-Histidine

Properties: white crystal or crystalline powder. Odorless.It has slightly bitter taste. It will be melted and decomposed in 177-288℃. It is soluble in water, difficultly soluble in ethanol and insoluble in ether. Because the solubility is extreme little, its common form is its hydrochloride.
