1. Project Background
Interleukin, commonly referred to as "IL," is a biologically active, small-molecule peptide-like fragment generated by various cells. It plays a crucial role in activating and regulating immune cells, mediating the activation of T and B lymphocytes, among others. IL is integral to processes such as activation, proliferation, differentiation, and inflammatory responses. Specifically, Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a member of the interleukin family and is widely distributed in human tissues and cells. Mainly secreted by fibroblasts, monocytes/macrophages, T or B lymphocytes, and vascular endothelial cells, IL-6 targets cells like macrophages, hepatocytes, activated B cells, plasma cells, and resting T cells. It stimulates T cell proliferation, activates cytotoxic T cells, promotes the proliferation of activated B cells, triggers antibody secretion, induces liver cells to synthesize acute phase proteins like C-reactive protein (CRP), and participates in inflammatory reactions while supporting bone marrow hematopoietic function.
The Interleukin-6 detection reagent is designed for assessing IL-6 levels in human samples. Its primary application lies in monitoring the body's immune status and inflammatory responses. IL-6 serves as a sensitive indicator for the early diagnosis of acute infections. In instances of infection and inflammation, IL-6 is rapidly produced, leading to an escalation in levels. This, in turn, induces the production of C-reactive protein (CRP) and procalcitonin (PCT), both of which are associated with the severity of inflammation. Joint detection of IL-6 with inflammatory indicators like CRP and PCT provides insights into the patient's inflammation risk. Reagent 2: Human interleukin 6 (IL-6) antibody (Cat. No.: EKY0129D) labeled-acridinate dilution, dosage 50ul/test.
4.1.2 Combination 2:
Antigen to be tested: Human interleukin 6 (IL-6) recombinant antigen (Cat. No.: EKY0140D).
Sample/Calibrator: Adding volume 30ul.

4.2 Fluorescence Immunochromatography (Lanthanide Eu Chelate Filling) Platform:
Antigen to be tested: Human interleukin 6 (IL-6) recombinant antigen (Cat. No.: EKY0140B), sample/calibrator: adding volume 10ul.
Reaction conditions: Mix sample + fluorescent solution, load sample, reaction time (10min-15min).
The fluorescence instrument used in the test is Hemai FIC-S100, suitable for various fluorescence systems (excitation wavelength 365nm, emission wavelength 615nm), such as Guangzhou Labsim, etc.
